What will you do?

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the production teams, build production schedules and make sure production stay within budgets and deadlines in order to ensure an efficient and productive production process that meets customer requirements.
  • Attract, motivate, steer and develop the production department in line with HR guidelines in order to ensure the team is motivated and qualified.
  • Plan, deploy, implement and follow-up production schedules with focus on customer requirements, availability of facilities, quality, and efficiency in order to ensure efficient and on time production that meets customer requirements.
  • Ensure overall compliance with safety, hygiene, health and environmental policies in order to guarantee that BENEO’s/Meatless’s internal policies and external regulations are respected.
  • Timely monitor and correctly register production data (usage of (raw) materials, progress of orders, …) in the ERP system in order to keep track of production progress and to guarantee up to date and adequate information flows.
  • Initiate and execute production process improvements in order to increase production efficiency and optimize organizational performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis on identified production problems and define solutions in order to guarantee problems are adequately solved and to eliminate or reduce their occurrence. Monitor the quality of products produced in order to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer acceptance.
  • Prepare and provide periodic steering reports for the organization, in order to provide the Meatless management team with insights to take adequate decisions.
  • Lead and/or participate in improvements and extension projects related to the strategic needs of the company in order to increase operational efficiency and capacity. Recruit temporary workers in close collaboration with HR to ensure qualified workers are hired that meet Meatless’s current and future needs.

Who are you?

Your profile

  • Bachelor level
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in operational function People Manager – well-developed soft skills Excellent reporting skills
  • Excellent technical skills – understanding of food products/processes
  • Good understanding of food safety requirements in operational environment Hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in Dutch & English language
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office, …)
